Welcome to Pegs Paws Grooming
We are a small family run business consisting of 2 of us who are both massive dog lovers, Between us we have many years of experience with dogs and we understand how important they are to you. Your furiends deserve only the very best! Our aim is to give your pets a positive experience as well as them going home looking and smelling delightful.
We work 1-1 with every dog which gives us chance to build up a positive relationship with your dog. Working in this way also means we limit the amount of dogs we have in at any one time creating a calm and stress free environment. We are based in a quiet location with parking directly outside. Your pets will be provided with fresh water, bedding and taken for regular toilet breaks while here with us.

We offer a professional, fully insured 1-1 grooming service, Grooming is a very important part of your dogs health and wellbeing.We only use cruelty free, natural products so you can be reassured that your pet isn't exposed to any nasty chemicals.

Full Groom- This service is offered for long or short coated dogs. This includes nail clipping, ear cleaning, bathing, drying, brushing out of the coat, de shedding, hygiene trim, styling as required and a spray with a cruelty free, long lasting, fresh smelling cologne. Prices vary for each dog which depends on breed, size, coat type, temperament and coat condition. ** If your pet has a matted coat or has any behavioral issues this must be disclosed at the time of booking your appointment to ensure adequate groomers and adequate time is allocated for your pet.

The Inbetween Groom- This service is great for between scheduled grooms, after muddy or sandy walks or even if you struggle to maintain your dogs coat between grooms. This service includes bathing, drying and brushing out the coat.

Puppy Package- This is a service designed to get your puppy used to the groomers, we slowly introduce the whole process to them ensuring we never overwhelm them. Your puppies first few visits to the groomers is the most important so we ensure it is a fun stress free and enjoyable experience. This package is suitable for any puppies aged from 12weeks old **Please note your puppy must of received their full vaccination course to be able to attend** Your puppy should be introduced to the groomers at a young age, its more difficult for them to except as they get older, just remember the grooming process is not a natural process to a dog so it can take time for them to become comfortable with it.

Nail clipping- We offer this as a sole service so give us a call if your pets nails are long or sharp. Keeping your dogs nails trimmed is really important some dogs naturally wear theirs down but others don't. They can grow around into the thier paws pads causing them a lot of pain. Leaving their nails to long also allow the quick of the nail to grow down further which makes it trickier to cut the nail back to a decent length meaning a few visits are required. This appointment should only take around 10minutes so there's no need to leave your pet with us.

ABOUT US
My name is Jade, I have owned animals all my life from dogs, cats, horses to ferrets and chickens. My life evolves around them. As well as being a dog groomer i am a qualified veterinary nurse. My main aim is to ensure your pet has a positive and calm experience here with us as well as going home looking and smelling great! Being a veterinary nurse gives me the knowledge to give your pet the very best of care as well as lots of experience with all different temperaments, breeds and sizes of dogs and many different illnesses helping me better understand your pet.
Hi i am Tanya, throughout my life i have owned a variety of different dog breeds and rehomed dogs with various problems. I am a certified canine first aider and have transferred 23 years of hairdressing experience into dog grooming. I am passionate about giving each dog a comfortable experience, giving owners confidence in our skills and commitment to making each dog look great.
