Pegs Paws Grooming

​

​Your pets 

​

  • You must inform the groomer of any existing medical conditions your dog may have.

  • We will not groom your dog if they appear to be unwell or injured at the time of the appointment and they must be collected immediately for their own welfare and to reduce the risk of cross infection.

  • We will not groom your pet if they have recently had surgery they must be given the all clear from the vets prior to attending the appointment

  • We recommend puppies wait at least 1 week after their second vaccination before attending a grooming appointment.

  • You must disclose any allergies your dog may have.

  • If your dog has any behavioral issues this must be disclosed at the time of booking the appointment to ensure we have an adequate time slot allocated for them. It is to also ensure the safety of your dog, the groomer and other dogs on the premise, Failure to comply will result in the appointment being cancelled with the full cost liable to be paid. We reserve the right to refuse to groom your dog if they are deemed to dangerous to groom where it may result in injury to themselves or the groomer.

Matted dogs 

​

  • You must disclose at the time of booking if your pets coat is matted to ensure an adequate time is allocated to your pets appointment.

  • We will endeavour to groom your pet to your requirements, however if your pet is found to be excessively matted the coat will be shaved to remove the matting. This completely depends on the severity of the matting and we will discuss this with you. Our primary concern is that your pet is relieved of any pain and distress caused by a matted coat. Additional charges will apply to any level of matting due to the extra time required and the extra wear and tear on our equipment.

Appointments and Payments

​

  • We require at least 48 hour notice of cancellation to enable us to fill your appointment, failure to comply with this may result in a late cancellation fee of 50% of the groom.

  • We may require a non refundable deposit at our discretion to secure your booking. 

  • If you arrive late to your appointment you may be asked to reschedule and the cancellation fee will apply.  

  • If you consistently miss appointments or cancel within 48 hour we may refuse to book you back in.

  • You must pick your pet up within 30 minutes of the agreed collection time or when we have contacted you, unless otherwise agreed. Failure to do so will result in additional fees being added to the groom.

  • Full payment is required upon collection of your pet via cash or card payment.

  • All prices given are estimates until we meet and assess your pet, we try to stick to the estimates given to owners but sometimes they may be different due to the size, coat type and condition and temperament of your pet.
